JOB SUMMARY: Breakout, remove waste from die cut sheets, box without mixing variables as directed by Supervision or Lead Operator. Apply QMS principles and techniques effectively.

 

 

 

 

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Remove die cut trim and waste from die cut sheets.
  • Sort and inspect finished goods to assure customer quality expectations are maintained.
  • Sort due cut blanks by die position, as directed, to assure future operations can identify unusual problems during fabrication.
  • Label cases with supplied labels and stack materials on skids to assure label visibility and proper layout to reduce shipping damage.
  • Move finished goods as directed.
  • Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by supervisions.

Pushing and Pulling – required frequently throughout the work day at an average pace.

Items pushed/pulled – pallets, pallets of stock utilizing a hand jack – some in strained positions.

ATTENDANCE REQUIRMENTS:    Regular attendance is required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

  • Fair working conditions with some disagreeable elements due to manufacturing processes – dirt, odors.
