OPPORTUNITY: The Randleman, NC converting facility is seeking a qualified Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This position supports non-union plants in Randleman, NC, and Pineville, NC with 150 hourly employees and 20 salaried employees. The HR Coordinator provides Human Resource and payroll support for the day-to-day operations for the Randleman and Pineville locations while working closely with the HR Manager. This position reviews data and supplies reports based on this information to ensure proper HR administration and payroll processing. This position will also assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to support the department and plant goals and objectives. Primarily supports the HR Manager on a variety of duties, as assigned, including but not limited to the below.

 Job Functions: 

  • Process Payroll for all hourly and temporary employees on a weekly basis.
  • Tracks, maintains, and sends out hourly performance reviews.
  • Assist with recruiting strategies for hourly and salaried positions at plant level.
  • Administers the recruiting process to include screening, interviewing, selecting, and hiring candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits, compensation, personnel record keeping, unemployment claims and training.
  • Administer and track leave of absence, including FMLA, Short-term disability, and military leaves.
  • Answer employee questions on benefits, leave of absence, and other company policies.
  • Maintains all records and files as required by plant/company policy and Federal and State laws.
  • Maintain employee data in the HRIS system.
  • Coordinates with temp agencies for temporary staffing.
  • Coordinates garnishments.
  • Assist HR Manager regarding employee relations issues and recommends actions which are consistent with corporate policies.
  • Provide support to management and employees on problem resolution, supervisory discretion, and policy interpretation.
  • Provide backup HR support to HR facility manager.
  • Provide headcount and overtime reports to HR Manager.
  • Work on special projects such as the health fair, supervisor training and development, communication plans, service awards, etc.
  • Accounting support as needed
  • Support EH&S Manager
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of related human resources and payroll experience, specifically experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Human Resources professional certification a PLUS.


  • Must work in the plant location
  • Must be available to work Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
  • Must be able to work 8 hours a day with occasional overtime
  • Must be able to lift 10 – 20 lbs.
  • Position requires sitting for long periods; walking and looking at computer screen for long periods. 
  • Exposure to the noises of a manufacturing plant that requires ear plugs and PPE.
