Title:  Account Executive - Foodservice (Chicago Area)

To manage profitable growth with existing N. American business while exploring opportunities to expand relationship into new accounts. Business segments include Quick Serve Restaurants, Convenience Stores, Distribution, Specialty Coffee Business and Industry and Hospitality through contract feeders. Increase value thru innovation, mix, price and contract management.


JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

  • Profitably grow the business with priority strategic accounts by developing and successfully implementing Key Account Plans
  • Enable profitable decision-making through demonstrated knowledge of general business principles, internal financial management and industry business practices
  • Identify and implement customer value propositions thru innovation and application of IP corporate/business capabilities and resources
  • Create IP advantage through continuous evaluation of market conditions and competitive environment
  • Manage supply capacity thru effective forecasting, inventory management, and asset utilization
  • Responsible for approx. 15MM in annual revenue
  • Key market is in Chicago, but territory includes three states
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Minimum 7 years’ experience with 3 years commercial sales experience (desired)
  • 8 years in Packaging Industry and experience in the foodservice industry (desired)
  • 2 years of CVM sales experience (desired)
  • Ability to lead and implement effective market based strategic plans
  • Consistent track record in delivering business results
  • Ability to support operations thru forecasting and demand modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Demonstrated comprehension of
    • Marketing and Sales concepts

  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and projects simultaneously



  • Four year college degree in business, marketing, or related field

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint



  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.





  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
