Job Summary:

 The Boomi Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions using the Boomi platform. This role will focus on ensuring seamless integration of enterprise applications, data, and processes across both on-premise and cloud environments.

The Boomi Architect will collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and other architects to design scalable, robust integration frameworks that align with the company’s technology strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of complex integration workflows of various integration types (EDI, webservice, API led or others).
  • Work with developers to create and optimize integration solutions that connect SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Dataverse) with on-premise ERP systems(e.g., SAP, S4, Radius, Panther)
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of integration solutions, from design to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Boomi.
  • Define best practices for designing, developing, and deploying integrations, APIs, and workflows in Boomi.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and align with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise integration strategy, leveraging the Boomi platform for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid integrations.
  • Provide expertise in migrating, consolidating and integration multiple middleware solutions to create seamless integration environment.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT leadership to define the integration roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology objectives.
  • Design reusable integration components, APIs, and connectors to streamline future projects.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify integration needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, including security, data, and infrastructure, to ensure integrated systems meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for the middleware solutions, providing guidance to developers, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integrations, ensuring reliability and efficiency across all workflows.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for integration issues, providing solutions to resolve system outages or performance bottlenecks.
  • Continuously review and improve the scalability and efficiency of Boomi
  • based integrations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT with a focus on systems integration and architecture.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Boomi integration platform as an architect or senior developer.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of Boomi, including Boomi AtomSphere, and API management.
  • Good experience in developing and implementing Web Services/APIs WebServices (REST and/or SOAP based) and complex XML schemas and data mapping, as well as X12 (850, 856,810, 855 etc.), flat files, XML, csv and other file formats.
  • Experience with using middleware technology to integrate ERP systems such as SAP ECC (IDOC, BAPI, RFC) or SAP HANA and/or legacy systems.
  • Handle configurations in SAP for EDI integrations (we20, EDPAR entries etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience of other integration software such as Talend, Sterling Integrator, webMethods, MOVEit is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures, including AWS, Azure, and other SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Qlikview).
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and familiarity with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting and optimizing integration workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Pay Range:   $112,560.00 - $150,045.00
