Graphic Packaging International IT supports all IT-related functional and business activities throughout Graphic Packaging’s global manufacturing footprint. The organization is made up of local, regional, and global units that collaborate deliver innovative, world-class IT solutions to our business. GPI IT is building the secure, real-time intelligent enterprise.  GPI IT will leverage our global & contemporary platforms, people and processes to deliver on Vision 2025 in a scalable, cost-effective manner.  This position supports the business transformation technology team in a variety of application projects related to GPI’s primary ERP, SAP. 

The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Provide support and testing for GPI S/4 Hana and GPI’s SAP ECC systems 

  • Learn and understand business process from Order to Cash, Record to Report, Plan to Produce, and Procure to Pay 

  • Exposure, training, and understanding of various SAP modules in both S/4 and ECC including, but not limited, to sales and distribution, materials management, finance, and controlling 

  • Work with automated testing software, specifically Tricentis 

  • Build, document and execute test scripts through the automated testing software 

  • Create and document test data to support test script execution 

  • Work with GPI IT to develop testing standards, naming conventions, and standard practices related to the automated testing process 

  • Develop best practices around usage and execution of automated testing process 

  • Participate in Compliance and Change Management processes  

  • Project Execution and Management 

  • Be an active team member in agile projects that works directly with GPI business units 

  • Research and prepare functional and technical specifications 

  • Present to management, oral and/or written, reports and proposals covering research topics. The job has many opportunities only bounded by your demonstrated abilities. 

Other Potential Duties: 

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual meetings 

  • Draft and develop presentations and documentation for management 

  • Be an active team member in both supporting the current SAP environments and participating in projects to enhance and upgrade the environment 

Required Knowledge / Skills and Education: 

  • Good understanding of SAP technologies, both SAP’s S/4 and ECC software across various SAP modules and technologies 

  • Understanding of master and transactional data related to the Finance and Controlling modules 

  • Understand the role and use of automated testing software, experience in using automated testing software a plus 

  • Review application deployment requirements  

  • Assist with building of a deployment project plan  

  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of the testing application   

  • Ability to work effectively with multinational and diverse group and demonstrate leadership skills 

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a variety of concurrent activities 

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and requirements 

  • Experience in creating procedures, standards and/or practices 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Education: BA/BS, Masters or MBA degrees 

 

  • Majors: BS or BA- Mathematics, Engineering, Management of Information Systems or Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, MBA or MS Information Technology, or related field  

 

  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. 

 

Pay Range:   $71,625.00 - $95,500.00
