Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The Demand Planner role within our Sales and Operations Planning Organization is responsible for analyzing sales data to effectively estimate future product demands. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing historical data and other relevant factors to forecast future product demand. 
  • Analyzing sales data and other relevant information to identify patterns, trends and insights related to demand. 
  • Participate in calls with customers and sales as needed to understand forecast drivers and discuss any call outs on forecast or planned demand strategies
  • Collaborating to assess inventory management and ensure optimal inventory levels based on demadn forecasts. 
  • Report discrepancies in customer forecasting; recommend solutions for improving accuracy
  • Review forecast, order patterns and run strategy for compliance against business and contractual parameters
  • Develop and present reports for key internal stakeholders
  • All Other Duties as Assigned


Position Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree level education in General Business, Supply Chain or related field (preferred) -or- compensatory work experience in Customer Service, Production Control, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain function that includes demand, supply and inventory planning
  • Knowledge of ERP system, excel, order management processes and business reporting systems
  • Demonstrated successful order management/account management
  • Experience in Paperboard Packaging a plus


Salary Min:   $69,825.00

Salary Mid:   $93,135.00

Salary Max:  $116,445.00
