Title: Developer, SAP/BTP Integration & ABAP

Mission: The SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer is responsible for designing and build custom integration flows using SAP/BTP Integration suite for GPI’s Global integration efforts. You will support stakeholders with technology related to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with comprehensive understanding of the most recent SAP solutions for database and application development and integration.
Identify, assess and solve complex SAP technology problems with components of BTP, in particular around SAP integration suite, SAP extension suite and SAP HANA.
Develop analysis of technology architecture design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analysts.
Ability to communicate technical issues, plans and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective providing pros and cons for recommended solutions centered around BTP.
How you will support GPI:
- Evaluate SAP roadmap, provide recommendations on tools, Software and implementation strategies.
- API Business Hub – knowing the key prebuilt APIs (such as Service Now, Alight, Concur, Outlook, etc) and also experience with building custom APIs
- Experienced with replication between SAP on-prem system and SAP EC
Deploy and support SAP CPI based integrations - Exposure to various integration scenarios and experience in working on major adapters including SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, SuccessFactors etc.
- Understand & worked on different API types of SOAP, REST and ODATA
- Integration with SAP UI5/Fiori apps
- Complex ABAP programming, testing and debugging functions related to the implementation/enhancement of SAP modules
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 7 years of progress experience in and across an IT service organization. Experience in a manufacturing environment desired
- Minimum 2 years End to End Implementation and a Support project experience in CPI for integrating with S4 HANAECCBW and 3rd Party systems.
- Understand & worked on different API types of SOAP, REST and ODATA
- Knowledge on SAP BTP Extension suite
- Experience with SSL and PGP encryptions
- Experienced with Groovy and Java scripting for SAP CPI

- Solid experience and deep understanding of EDI concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that involve key stakeholders across a complex organization.
- Requires a self-starter personality that is flexible and willing to work with a wide range of personalities on a variety of projects while prioritizing effectively with good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Requires highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and experience interact with internal and external customers
- Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
- Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
