Title:  Document Control Coordinator and Quality

The Document Control Coordinator & Quality Admin edits, formats, and maintains documentation necessary to control manufacturing processes that ensure conformance to customer and company requirements; assists in maintaining the controlled document websites where documents are stored; updates documentation on the controlled document websites to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner; manages the annual review process for controlled documents, providing document owners with notifications of documents due for review and assisting with the processing of those reviews as needed; updates document ownership and website permissions. This position also compiles and distributes reports for Quality and serves as system admin for Quality data systems.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Edit, format, and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to control manufacturing processes.
  • Update latest revision level documentation on the controlled document websites in a timely manner and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from the websites.
  • Assist in maintaining the controlled document websites, including site permissions and creation of new plant websites as needed.
  • Manage the annual document review process, ensuring document owners receive notifications of documents due for review. Assist with processing of reviews.
  • Perform clerical typing duties to generate, edit, and format documents as necessary.
  • Compile and distribute Quality reports, as requested.
  • Serve as system admin for Quality data systems, including managing permissions and standardization of data, as requested.SPECIFIC SKILLS:
  • Very strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with SharePoint would be a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work discreetly with confidential information and situations.
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to meeting schedule requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all company departments, subcontractors, and customer personnel.
  • Excellent grammar, writing, and proofreading skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Some experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus.EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
