Reporting Analyst, Americas

 

As a Reporting Analyst supporting the Americas Converting Division, you will be responsible for assisting with and preparing timely and accurate financial reporting to help drive profitability and results. This includes analyzing financial information, daily movement of inventory along with other necessary KPI’s for the business. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance or Business Analytics role with 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment. This position requires consolidation, maintenance and analysis of data.  Further, this role will require identifying automation and streamlining opportunities for the division’s reporting requirements.  This candidate will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills. 

 

Position Scope:

 

Key processes include consolidating and analyzing - monthly KPIs, preparing and reviewing daily reports for inventory and manufacturing throughput as well as suggesting process improvements and enhancements.  This role will work closely with IT to ensure master data for reporting requirements are accurate and act as the primary liaison with the operating finance field to gather and review data. 

 

 Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

 

  • Prepare reporting for KPI’s, including but not limited to, daily inventory, manufacturing throughput, freight, labor utilization, headcount, units sold and Continuous Improvement (CI) including Cost of Variation (COV)
  • Prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial reporting for month end results
  • Prepare month end close calendar and distribute to Americas Converting division stakeholders
  • Maintain data integrity for all divisional reporting needs
  • Collect plant level submissions from raw data to presentations for consolidation and/or historical reference
  • Respond to internal and external audit inquiries and provide data and support to Corporate Accounting
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our management reporting system, IBM Cognos TM1
  • Provide training for key resources for field, as needed
  • All other duties as assigned 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; advanced Finance degree (plus)
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Finance or Business Analytics role
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and provide impactful solutions
  • Experience with OLAP tools, such as TM1 or Essbase
