Title:  Fixed Assets Accountant

This role is responsible for general accounting and reporting functions for the Company’s fixed assets portfolio and includes transactional processing, month end close activities, and ad hoc reporting. 


Job Duties:


  • Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions into SAP
  • Set up capital project budget requests in SAP
  • Monitor and review ongoing capital projects and work closely with field personnel to ensure timely in service dates with proper useful lives and asset classifications
  • Run fixed asset depreciation during month end close
  • Process fixed asset transfers between Company locations
  • Assist with preparation of monthly fixed asset account reconciliations
  • Ensure appropriate balancing of fixed asset and depreciation rollforward for all US companies on a monthly basis
  • Perform applicable manual adjustments to rollforwards to ensure accurate business capital expenditure reporting
  • Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules in support of financial reporting and audit requests
  • Monitor central mailbox for fixed asset submissions to ensure timely processing of approved transaction requests (e.g., transfers, project close outs, budget adjustments, etc.)




  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Finance/Accounting preferred)
  • 2 – 4 years of fixed asset accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • Experience working with SAP and HFM
