The Marketing Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the beverage Americas business with sales enablement, direct customer outreach and brand building strategies and tactics. Some of these include leading the creation of diverse content and sales materials, training and developing sales teams, planning and executing customer events, and providing data intelligence as and when needed. This role will also support the development and execution of ABM activities with the intention of protecting and growing market share for GPI. The candidate will understand and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives as they execute their role.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Work with the Global Beverage team to deliver direct customer support, sales enablement strategies, data analysis, brand awareness strategies, sales training, and more
  • Leads various Account Based Marketing (ABM) marketing activities in conjunction with the sales and business development teams
  • Supports planning and execution of customer events, including presenting as subject matter expert as needed
  • Supports sales teams with information as needed regarding market trends, packaging trends, thought leadership, and more.
  • Identifies, analyzes and maintains market data and intelligence to determine growth potential for packaging solutions with both current and potential customers.
  • Champion of Highspot, Monday.com and other tools for the marketing team.
  • Has experience with Nielsen, Mintel and other data subscriptions
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years of marketing experience; required
  • 3-4 years of experience with a CPG, Beverage, ECOM or Packaging company; preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing data solutions, including sales support and vendor management; preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in market research, data analysis and/or product marketing; preferred

 

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant career experience is required in marketing, data analytics or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily PowerPoint & Excel) with aptitude for other software and/or technologies to solve business problems.
  • Ability to work with teams through complex projects; as working in team based, cross-functional and cross-business environments are essential for success in this role.
  • Proven project management skills to be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to interpret technical product features and instructions and turn them into customer-oriented sales support materials
  • Proven self-starter with strong results-oriented background requiring limited oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize market intelligence and data from a variety of sources to identify market trends, understand implications and present key findings as business opportunities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels and cultures of an organization.
  • Driving license required.
  • Fluent business English required and additional languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of marketing tools such as CRM systems a plus.

 

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • 10-20% overnight travel to include flying, driving or by rail.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.

Pay Range:   $80,300.00 - $107,100.00
