Title: IT/OT Systems Analyst

Job Summary: The IT/OT Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions to support the integration and standardization of Information Technology and Operational Technology systems. They will provide expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to IT/OT convergence and work closely with other teams to ensure secure convergence of IT/OT systems. The ideal candidate will have a functional background in both IT and OT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement IT/OT converged systems that enable secure seamless communication and collaboration between IT and OT systems.
- Analyze current IT and OT systems and identify areas for convergence and improvement.
- Work closely with IT and OT teams to understand requirements and develop technical strategies for implementing secure and resilient converged networks.
- Design and implement technical solutions to support the integration and standardization of IT and OT systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Act as a technical SME for IT/OT convergence initiatives and projects.
- Provide support to IT/OT project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design IT/OT systems, including hardware, software, and networking technologies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT/OT converged systems to ensure they are performing optimally and meeting business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure alignment of company standards and industry best practices.
- Provide 2nd tier technical support for IT and OT systems.
- Adhere to change control, security policies and audit requirements
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT and OT convergence and make recommendations for improvement.
- Periodic travel – less than 25%
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with either IT or OT networks.
- Strong technical understanding of IT and OT systems including infrastructure and applications.
- Experience with integrating IT and OT systems.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems (ICS, MES, QCS, data historian, process technology and analytics) running in a highly available production environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices relating to IT/OT convergence (i.g. NIST 800-82, CPWE, ISA/IEC 62443).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with VMware and Windows Server
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCNA, or MCP, are a plus.
