Job Summary:
In 2022, Graphic Packaging International set out to modernize its Human Resources department using digital technology. As part of this initiative, the company implemented SuccessFactors and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery for over 15,000 employees in the US and Canada. To ensure a smooth transition, the company created instructor-led courses, videos, and quick reference guides to familiarize employees with the new systems and processes. Graphic Packaging International is now looking for an experienced Instructional Designer who can develop engaging learning and practice experiences for the HR systems and processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of instructional design models that produce measurable results and foster a collaborative learning environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the learning journey of HR, employees, and managers.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the HR Business Partners and the Centers of Excellence to conduct needs assessments, identify training gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze content for the HR systems training material.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to develop effective learning experiences.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Create user guides, job aids, and other documentation to facilitate learning and system adoption.
- Evaluate and update existing training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
- Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience teaching or facilitating one-on-one or in a group setting
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
- Familiarity with HR systems and processes
- Experience with SAP Enable Now

Pay Range: $78,750.00 - $105,000.00
