MISSION / SUMMARY:

Graphic Packaging International’s Leadership Development Program is a high-visibility, 12-month program:

  • Learning curriculum and assessments designed to develop investor relations skills, provide fast-track industry experience, teach “hands-on” business development processes and strategies
  • Develop relationships with Executive leadership: you are paired with an executive sponsor, leadership mentor, and an onsite manager
  • Make in-person presentations to Leadership team with other LDPs

At the end of the program, you will be placed into a permanent role and join the LDP Alumni network. We are a growing company and excited to provide this unique opportunity to an individual looking to grow their career in the investor relations and finance space.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform valuation and analytical exercises for Graphic Packaging and its competitors in support of senior management and investor relations
  • Draft supporting materials for investor meetings, financial conferences, earnings releases and Investor Days; update investor presentation with latest financials, new product development, capital investments and ESG progress
  • Support the quarterly earnings process through maintaining a database of key business metrics, monitoring consensus estimates, producing prep documents, managing earnings call logistics and performing post-earnings analysis and summaries
  • Provide updates to the investor relations and ESG sections of the website; introduce new ideas for discussion/identify best practices to ensure the IR website remains a real-time, value-add tool
  • Conduct competitive analysis on a monthly basis, including keeping track of financial results, strategy, and research for GPK and its peers
  • Report on market performance, economic developments and other public market information
  • Monitor shareholder information, including changes in ownership at both the institutional and fund levels, and own and maintain relationship management database and investor relations meetings calendar
  • Prepare reports analyzing return on time investment – investor meetings / investor calls and initiation of stock positions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-1 years of financial services experience
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree with strong record of academic achievement
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to senior internal and external audiences
  • Capital markets knowledge is a plus
  • Good judgment and impeccable ethics; desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • Your prior experiences must demonstrate initiative, intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, success managing multiple priorities, and working well in a team under deadline pressure. 
  • Prior experience may include internships, co-op assignments, summer jobs, and volunteer work, leadership roles in student or college-affiliated organizations, full-time or part-time positions. Work experience related to field of study is desirable.
