Title:  Corporate Project Manager of Reliability and Engineering

MISSION: The Corporate Project Manager of Reliability and Engineering is responsible for supporting reliability and maintenance process development, optimization, and compliance across the America’s Converting division to reduce unscheduled equipment downtime and improve overall process reliability. This organization is also responsible for supporting operational excellence objectives by providing in plant technical expertise to positively affect focus plants and processes within the division. The Corporate Project Manager of Reliability and Engineering will oversee and execute the processes and procedures required. Area specific Subject Matter Experts will execute operational excellence support, benchmarking, and division level escalation/management. 

JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following. 

  • Assist in the development, optimization, and compliance management of new and existing equipment predictive and preventive maintenance programs across the America’s Converting operations.
  • Maintain key maintenance and reliability tenets. Track and support compliance across the America’s Converting operations to maintain consistency within the division.
  • Manage maintenance and reliability training programs to further advance the knowledge of the maintenance organization (TPC and ODT).
  • Support plant level onboarding and education of new maintenance leadership positions.
  • Support new equipment installs from a maintenance and reliability standpoint.
  • Provide maintenance work management directions and best practices. Monitor metrics to maintain compliance.
  • Manage the deployment of the ProCare system to ensure consistent proactive OEM interventions are executed.
  • Provide analysis to ensure ProCare and other major equipment interventions and rebuilds return their expected value.  
  • Publish Monthly / Quarterly / Annual maintenance scorecards by region and plant to assess and communicate compliance to plant specific expectations.
  • Analyze downtime to identify division level chronic failure elimination opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot chronic machine and process issues in focus plants. Develop and execute action plans to remove issues in support of the America’s operational excellence objectives.
  • Lead key processes from a maintenance and reliability standpoint to support the operational excellence objectives. Benchmark learnings and implement across the America’s division utilizing current and new processes.
  • Provide subject matter experts covering key operation processes for plant support, escalation, and benchmarking.
  • Interface with OEM leadership to provide the division level management and visibility needed for problem resolution and continuous improvement.
