The HR Manager acts as a business partner, supporting various global corporate functions. The HR Manager is responsible for providing functional expertise on issues and matters relating to employee relations, performance management, organizational design and development, conflict resolution, human resources policies and procedures, compensation and benefits, workers compensation and state/federal employment law. 



  • Attract, recruit, retain and develop talent
    • Build internal and external networks to source talent
    • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition partners to recruit top talent
    • Work with managers and employees to create robust development plans
    • Identify and develop high potential internal candidates through succession planning process
    • Support company diversity and inclusion objectives, activities and initiatives


  • Drive a high performance culture and a high level of employee engagement
    • Facilitate regular communication meetings, team building events, and employee recognition activities
    • Develop and maintain positive employee relationships
    • Provide oversight, support, and guidance to employee-led teams in the areas such as, health and wellness, community involvement, reward & recognition, safety, employee communication


  • Provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees
    • Provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations issues
    • Coach managers on problem resolution and policy interpretation to ensure a positive and productive working environment
    • Effectively balance role of employee advocate with the best interests of the business
    • Monitor key business metrics and utilize workforce analytics to identify areas of opportunity/concern, support the creation and execution of action plans to address


  • Lead the timely and quality execution of HR processes and procedures
    • Ensure performance management process is fully implemented at all levels
    • Partner with managers to develop robust succession plans
    • Maintain HR records, processes and procedures in accordance with HR Organization Health Audit requirements
    • Support affirmative action programs and reporting


  • Provide HR support to drive key division and HR functional initiatives and projects
    • Mergers & Acquisitions and related HR integration planning and activities
    • Organizational restructuring planning and implementation
    • Workforce Planning, short-term and long-term
    • Internal/External Trend/Data Analysis in key areas
    • Other projects, as assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, Master’s degree a plus
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of Human Resources experience; previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Labor relations experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

  • Strong computer / enterprise system skills and analytic skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience of federal and state employments laws and other government compliance regulations
  • Ability to maintain composure in emergency or high-stress situations
