Mgr., Finance, Americas Reporting


As a Mgr., Finance, supporting the Americas Division, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial reporting for the Americas Division to monitor and drive an understanding of business results. This includes reporting the daily movement of inventory, manufacturing performance as well as other necessary KPI’s.  


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role with 2 years in a manufacturing environment and will have experience providing financial reporting to the business. Candidates must possess a passion for process and data management with a focus on deadline adherence and accuracy.  In addition, this position will offer the opportunity to work with cross functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of business KPIs to drive the business forward.


Position Scope:


Key processes include completing daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for business unit leadership.  This role will be responsible for building a best-in-class reporting function for the business unit.  The role has one direct report, a Reporting Analyst, and will work cross functionally with Operations, Sales & Operations Planning, Supply Chain and Financial leadership to develop, maintain, and improve key reports.  This role will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the data of these important KPIs.


Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:


  • Provide timely and accurate business units KPI reporting
  • Oversee reporting for KPI’s, including but not limited to, daily inventory, manufacturing reporting, freight, labor utilization, headcount, units, Continuous Improvement (CI) including Cost of Variation (COV)
  • Develop Reporting Analyst to build a best-in-class reporting function
  • Drive process and usability improvements of existing and future reporting
  • Continue to develop and improve benchmark reporting for the division
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our management reporting system, IBM Cognos TM1
  • Respond to internal and external audit inquiries and support the Americas divisional accounting group for audit inquiries, as needed
  • Provide training for key resources in the field, as needed
  • All other duties as assigned 


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 4-6 years in an Accounting or Finance role
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
  • Ability to present solutions and impact to senior management
  • Experience with OLAP tools, such as TM1 or Essbase
