New Business Development Executive - Personal Care/Beauty
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales team at Graphic Packaging as a New Business Development Executive in the personal care and beauty space.

Mission
Manage and continuously improve GPI’s overall business relationship with our customers.
Successfully lead the achievement of GPI’s objectives and the customer’s objectives. Provide formal leadership to the sales account team. Interface with all management levels in GPI and customer.
This position would be working virtually from a home office, traveling as needed. The preference would be to be located in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest US, or near our corporate office in Atlanta, GA.
Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Achieve all GPI objectives including sales plan, working capital, profit improvement, personnel development, quality improvement and customer service
- Achieve all customer objectives including cost reduction, innovation, quality improvement and customer service
- Manage the objective setting and performance appraisal process for any account team members
- Manage all aspects of existing contracts including price changes
- Lead new contract negotiations
- Generate, develop and track new business opportunities
- Lead regular business reviews with the customer and GPI senior leadership
- Lead pricing strategy process for all items including bids
- Lead annual account sales planning process
- Develop account sales reports for internal and customer use
- Lead new business commercialization process
- Supervise the qualification of new packages or package revisions for customer
- Proactively lead the innovation process with the customer
- Stay current with new capabilities inside and outside of GPI
- Seek innovative packaging solutions
- Be the first contact for customer Purchasing and Packaging requests
- Support achievement of quality objectives
- Act as a single GPI voice to the customer for all subjects especially quality and service
- Provide technical assistance in resolving quality issues
- Generate cost reduction ideas to support internal profit improvement or customer objectives
- Continuously develop relationships with various customer functional groups
Position Requirements
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Successfully manage between complex organizations
- Ability to persuade, negotiate and sell
- Act with flexibility and confidence
- Demonstrate a strong drive for results and sound analytical skills
- Rarely refer to supervisor for direction
- Flexible to travel as the customer or business requires
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably an MBA, and 5 years demonstrated sales and management experience in the folding carton industry, or equivalent combination or experience and education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of company services/products/capabilities to customers through personal meeting and formal presentations.
Pay Range: $107,200.00 - $142,900.00
