Title:  Supply Chain Program Manager

Project OneGPI is a strategic program that will focus on introducing processes and technologies for Supply Chain across Graphic Packaging International.  The Supply Chain Transformation role will support One GPI. In Phase One, from 2022 to 2024 the role will focus on the implementation of redesigned processes, organizations, and systems for Supply Chain Planning and Logistics Control Tower. This position will partner with business units, technical units, outside consultants, internal SMEs, etc. to ensure that prioritization and execution plans are in robust for all critical areas, provide risk management and mitigation oversight, and ensure knowledge and expertise are in place for all key workstreams.

The Program Manager will report to the overall program sponsor, the Vice President of Supply Chain Planning and Customer Care and will be one of the key senior collaborators on the direction and plans for the program. This role will help lead and shepherd all the initiatives that are under the OneGPI umbrella, supporting teams to keep their timelines on track, ensuring transparency and accountability for all key program milestones, providing coaching to key team members, and producing all levels of reporting to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Program/ Project management experience in a multi-cultural/ multi-site environment
  • Demonstrated ability in driving Global large-scale transformation projects running over multiple years across operations and IT with multiple stakeholder groups at various levels within the organization
  • Managed large teams across multiple geographies with large budgets
  • Relevant depth in delivery and implementation experience
  • Project Management Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Experience with Technology as well as non-technology projects
  • Assertive leadership and exceptional communication, coaching &mentoring skills
  • Significant senior stakeholder management, budget control, review and escalation
  • Ensuring adoption by stakeholders and user populations, and delivering anticipated benefits

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Domain knowledge in supply chain
  • Domain knowledge in manufacturing

Key objectives of this role

  • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
  • Define and manage the program governance (controls)
  • Plan the overall program and monitor the progress
  • Manage the program’s budget
  • Manage the risks and issues of the program and work with the teams to take corrective measurements
  • Control all project interdependencies
  • Maximize utilization of project resources across all workstreams, assisting with the selection and appointment of new program team members
  • Monitor all projects to ensure all milestones are met
  • Manage all stakeholder communication
  • Interact with the PMO and the Business Transformation group to manage program documentations according to Graphic Packaging International policies and procedures
  • Interact with the tech teams to understand critical milestones, deliveries, and releases

Education and experience level:

  • A bachelor's degree of Science in information technology, business management, administration (or other relevant degree), with proven experience in Program Management tools and techniques
  • 8 years of experience as a Program Manager and additional years in other functional roles
