MISSION / SUMMARY:

The Procurement Analyst provides support to the Compliance Team efforts designed to ensure critical procurement transactions and controls are performed consistently across GPI Divisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in the design and implementation of enterprise internal controls as well as supporting policies, contract and sourcing compliance, procedures, training and metrics that not only support business requirements, but additionally promote sustainable, efficient and effective business controls and processes. 

The position will support desired business outcomes in the areas of improved spend visibility and classification, as well as sustainable working capital improvements and cost savings.

 

 

 

JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Work with Procurement Sr. Manager (Compliance) to properly, and consistently, support the requisition to receiving procurement processes.
  • Manage the Supply Chain SharePoint site including interaction with GPI-IT to perform system and content updates.
  • Manage assignments and track updates/creation of Guidelines/Training Documentation to align with published GPI Policies. Actively perform assigned updates as required.
  • Assist in integration, development, implementation, and maintenance of requisition to receiving processes and systems training for existing SAP, M&A, 3PLs and system conversion sites.
  • Prepare routine requisition to receiving compliance metrics reporting and process remediation efforts as needed.
  • Disseminate and obtain acknowledgment of supply chain information throughout the organization.
  • Participate in routine cross functional procurement roundtable and purchasing internal controls working sessions.
  • Support development of the standard processes for requisitions and PO types by category of spend – Manual, MRP, Planned Orders, Blankets, etc.
  • Utilize systems to identify, and report, non-compliant spend and direct category purchases to the approved suppliers.
  • Process and distribute key reports to monitor standardization metrics across the organization (i.e. non-stock versus stock purchasing practices, PO tolerance settings, PO/Goods Receipt variances, etc.)
  • Assist with mapping processes, development of sustainability documentation, and creation of training materials for supply chain spend management systems implementations (i.e. contracts, eSourcing, supplier onboarding, supplier performance, spend analytics).
  • Work with Procurement Sr. Manager (Compliance), IT, and cross functional teams to identify and drive systemic purchasing controls (i.e. MRP to PO controls, required field inputs, material group code selection).
  • Participate in projects and perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in a complex organization. This experience may be obtained in accounting, finance, engineering, supply chain/purchasing/logistics, audit, or IT.
  • Must be creative, resourceful, organized, and able to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Intermediate experience with SAP procurement processes (requisition to receiving).
  • Working knowledge of purchasing internal controls and procure to pay transactional flow.
  • Proven record of coordinating with multiple departments and remote locations to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Enjoys problem solving and execution.

 

 

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelors Degree in a quantitative discipline or combination of closely related work experience /education.
  • Prior project management experience is a plus.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred but not required.

 

 

SKILLS:

  • Intermediate to Advanced SAP requisition to receiving experience.
  • Must have Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and professional communication documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and communicate to achieve goals.
  • Work involves confidential and sensitive information. Discretion is essential.
  • Ability to utilize technology to solve business problems.
  • Ability to communicate with employees and management at all levels.

  • Flexibility to travel up to 25%

 

Salary Min:   $63 525,00

Salary Mid:   $84 630,00

Salary Max:  $105 840,00
