The Sr. Sales Rep manages profitable growth with existing North American business while exploring opportunities to expand relationship into new accounts. Business segments include Quick Serve Restaurants, Convenience Stores, Distribution, Specialty Coffee Business and Industry and Hospitality through contract feeders. Increase value thru innovation, mix, price and contract management. They understand and align business operations and Sales as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

  • Profitably grow the business with priority strategic accounts by developing and successfully implementing Key Account Plans
  • Enable profitable decision-making through demonstrated knowledge of general business principles, internal financial management and industry business practices
  • Identify and implement customer value propositions thru innovation and application of IP corporate/business capabilities and resources
  • Create IP advantage through continuous evaluation of market conditions and competitive environment
  • Manage supply capacity thru effective forecasting, inventory management, and asset utilization
  • Develop product and service offerings to meet the needs of targeted customers and influence end user buying decisions.
  • Work effectively with Manufacturing, Marketing, Operations and Customer Service in IPFS. Also work with other groups within IP including Coated Board, Office of Sustainability, and Legal to deliver a unique value proposition to the brands we service.
  • Optimize asset base while generating greater then cost of capital returns. Leverage current N. American relationship to expand into global markets. Develop CVM platform to support customers initiatives and drive value.
  • Responsible for $26MM in annual revenue
  • Deliver greater than cost of capital returns
  • Drive growth aligned with strategic priorities for Foodservice
  • Manage S&A and Promotional Budget for assigned area     
  • Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 3 years commercial sales experience (desired)
  • 8 years in Packaging Industry and experience in the foodservice industry (desired)
  • 2 years of CVM sales experience (desired)


  • 4 years’ College or work experience in lieu of (required)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)



  • Ability to engage a work force
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lead and implement effective market based strategic plans
  • Consistent track record in delivering business results
  • Ability to support operations thru forecasting and demand modeling
  • Internet – Ability to conduct research through website and various search engines
  • Knowledge and experience in graphics and special prints (desired)



  • Must be willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area.
  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
