JOB SUMMARY:
The main function is to provide oversight, analytical support and tracking of Graphic Packaging’s Leased Machines for internally produced machinery for the Corporate Accounting team. This includes both activity-based tracking (goods receipts, accruals) and actual cash outlay (invoice payment timing). Monthly processes include analyzing and maintaining communication on new machines that shipped, transferred or disposed. This role will report directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and work closely with our Packaging Machinery Division and International business units as well as Corporate FP&A and Corporate Financial Reporting. This role will also ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.). Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.) and assist with cost accounting/budgeting (allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, budget preparation, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Package Machinery Divisional and International sites on leased machine shipment tracking, transfers and disposals
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly invoicing and revenue for leased machines
- Collaborate with Tax and International sites monthly, quarterly and annually on VAT reconciliations and filings
- Complete monthly close process for assigned activities, includes calculation and posting of entries, P&L and Balance Sheet account reviews, Account Reconciliations, and internal control reports
- Managing the setup and maintenance of new contracts in the SAP system, in adherence to GPI policies and procedures
- Support the development and analysis of annual operating plan.
- Participate in internal balance sheet reviews, self-audits, and peer reviews.
- Provide training to local team, as needed, to ensure compliance with financial controls and reporting accuracy.
- Support Business Units as needed on special projects
- Support Corporate Level analysis for key items
- Assist with both internal and external audit requests to ensure quarterly and annual compliance of key processes and controls
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- BS with major in Finance, Accounting or similar degree required, MBA with concentration in Finance or Masters in Accounting or currently enrolled in a program preferred
- 3-5 years of Corporate Finance, Accounting, or M&A Transactional Services experience
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Lessor accounting experience (preferred)

Pay Range: $71,625.00 - $105,000.00
