As a Senior IT Business Relationship Analyst within the manufacturing sector, you will serve as a strategic liaison between business challenges and technology solutions. Your role is pivotal in driving process improvements, enhancing system efficiencies, and delivering measurable operational results across the organization.

You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable initiatives that support enterprise goals. Acting as the primary interface between business users and IT, you will serve as a subject matter expert in business processes, a steward of requirements, and a cross-functional leader for applications supporting our Foodservice division.

This role includes end-to-end ownership of initiative execution—from inception through implementation—and ongoing functional support for select standard applications post-deployment. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to cultivate a strong IT-business partnership and foster a positive customer experience. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

Business Process & System Analysis

  • Design and implement business processes aligned with industry best practices; promote adoption across manufacturing plants.
  • Document workflows and coordinate end-user training during project rollouts and regression testing phases.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to gather business requirements and propose process or application-based solutions.
  • Support business leaders in prioritizing initiatives across functional areas such as Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Quality & Traceability, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
  • Provide basic functional support for select standard applications prior to transitioning technical issues to external support vendors.
  • Develop detailed business and functional documentation; lead technical reviews and walkthroughs with development and design teams.
  • Identify risks and issues, and formulate mitigation strategies as needed.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead quarterly IT performance review meetings with plant teams, highlighting enhancements and key business initiatives.
  • Host weekly calls with key business departments to ensure continuity of service across critical functions.

 

Initiative Management

  • Ensure all initiatives adhere to established IT PMO governance standards.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships within GPI and with external partners to support initiative success.
  • Track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate initiative status to stakeholders regularly and transparently.
  • Escalate issues promptly and log risks with recommended mitigation plans.

 

Specialized or Technical Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting Manufacturing business as Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
  • Experience in Testing execution and documentation.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Waterfall.
  • Experience in a production support role working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP integration with other systems using various technologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Business process modelling and system design.
  • Knowledge of Functional, System, Integration, Unit and Regression testing.
  • Knowledge of modern technologies and best practices.

  • Self-starter, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical coworkers and business partners.
  • Work closely with members of various business functions.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Equivalent work experience also considered.

 

Pay Range:   $86,700.00 - $115,600.00
