Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
This position covers all countries in which Graphic operates. Working as a part of the SOC Team, the role of this Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is to support the detection and response, and incident response procedures. Specifically, this role will help with escalated alerts, improve the processes, and coordinate with other teams to address identified security issues and risks.
Key Responsibilities and Job Functions: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor escalated security alerts and logs to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, and document the findings and lessons learned.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Correlate data from various sources to detect anomalies and threats.
- Maintain dashboards and reporting for ongoing threat visibility.
- Responsible for development and tracking of data security metrics and trending for actionable patterns.
- Partner with other teams as necessary to identify security and compliance risks and remediate them.
- Collaborate with engineering management teams to ensure proper deployment and monitoring of data security technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis, future prevention / risk mitigation on critical security incidents.
- Work with the compliance team and vendors to provide relevant SOX evidence for internal & external audit.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with regional, national & international data privacy regulations.
Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field of study; or commensurate experience
- CISSP, GIAC, or CISM certifications are preferred.
- 5+ years of related professional experience in information security capabilities, such as: security assessments, incident response, risk analysis, privacy, data protection, regulatory frameworks, Governance/Risk/Compliance (GRC), security engineering, and policy development.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, incident response, privacy frameworks, and security compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work well with a diverse client base.
- Ability to articulate the importance of security.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and relevant records in an orderly, transparent fashion.
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment across global time zones.
- Ability to analyze data and recommend actions to drive continual operational improvement.
Pay Range: $86,700.00 - $115,600.00
