Senior Manager, Global Mobility 

GPI is seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr., Manager, Global Mobility to join our Total Rewards team and manage our global mobility program in close partnership with the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and our mobility vendors.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the business and the needs of the stakeholders to create solutions that are aligned with long-term business goals.
  • Leading the design, implementation, and administration of strong global mobility programs, including support for expatriate assignments as well as domestic relocations, by leveraging technology and our external partners to meet the needs of the business and deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Managing the global mobility policies and programs to ensure market competitiveness, and compliance with legal, tax, and local employment regulations.
  • Providing global mobility education (policies, processes, etc.) and communication materials to HR Business Partners and key stakeholders.
  • Managing escalations and working with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and to ensure services are delivered effectively.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the program and implement updates/changes as required.
  • Managing vendor performance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 8 or more years of global mobility experience

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and work with sensitive data.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with good business insight
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong internal consulting skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Solid technical understanding of global mobility design and practices
  • Experience and knowledge of international labor laws and practices
  • Experience leading and implementing large-scale initiatives and projects.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations
  • Strong project and time management skills including the ability to fulfill commitments in a timely manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with business leaders, HR business partners, functional organizations, employees, vendors, etc.
