Title:  Sourcing Manager - MRO

Mission: Work closely with Supply Chain and Business Unit leadership and other commodities

directors/managers in pursuit of sustainable reductions in the total cost of goods and

services procured with simultaneous improvements in the quality and service levels of the

supply base.


How you will support GPI:

Specific Categories: Powered Industrial Vehicles, Equipment Leasing & MRO

  • Achieve savings targets
  • Achieve working capital targets
  • Execute SPI strategy in selected commodity category
  • Spend compliance with approved suppliers
  • Assures security of supply and maintains optimal equipment availability levels.
  • Establish and develop the supply base to ensure availability of quality materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Follow the Strategic Procurement Initiative process to drive purchased items towards common specifications and increase supplier competition.
  • Prepare manufacturing sites for sourcing events and equipment site visits / audits.
  • Develop and maintain a complete list of powered industrial vehicles and associated leases.
  • Facilitate timely disposition of equipment that has reached end of useful life or lease
  • Support the processing and tracking of leases, quotes, agreements etc.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in packaging, supply chain, operations, engineering, or other related field preferred, or a minimum of three (3) years of packaging and or
  • paperboard industry experience in a commodity sourcing role.
  • Experience: Minimum of (3) years experience in Procurement, Operations, Technical, Packaging Development in Paperboard / Packaging industries, or as a Financial Analyst supporting Procurement / Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Availability to travel to 50-75% of the time.
  • Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Must have advanced computer skills including a significant understanding of ERP (e.g., SAP, TM1, and Hyperion) systems.
