The Corporate Accounting & Reporting team is the cornerstone of the Company’s accounting functions. This team collaborates across the entire organization and provides the guidance and leadership to our business partners. This role has the opportunity to create long-term, sustainable changes that will move the organization forward in supporting the Companies goals. This role provides a unique opportunity to see the Corporate accounting work materialize into external financial statements used by the investor community.

Position Overview:


The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting role is a key team member responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This includes compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing journal entries, reconciling reports and financial data, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, and assisting in preparing monthly and ad hoc reports. The position is also responsible for developing and monitoring compliance with accounting policies and procedures of the company providing accounting guidance and support to other teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Supporting the development and maintenance of on-going business processes.



  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting for external use including preparing financial statements and supporting notes (10-Q, 10-K). Ensuring all disclosures in the company’s financial statements are accurate and properly supported
  • Partner with other teams including Treasury, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis to obtain appropriate information to complete regulatory filings
  • Identify and improve our existing financial reporting and close processes
  • Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory accounting disclosure requirements
  • Prepare audit disclosure checklist to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete
  • Participates in the evaluation and determination of significant and complex transactions and how the financial statements and disclosures will be impacted
  • Support other teams with research and accounting guidance
  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining SOX related documentation related to areas of responsibility
  • Proactively assist company external auditors and internal auditors, as needed, to ensure an efficient and effective audit process
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis
  • Prepare month-end close reconciliations
  • Maintain current financial reporting documentation, as needed, and create new documentation as necessary to ensure optimal internal controls


  • 3 years of relevant accounting experience required with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA designation or CPA candidate
  • Experience preparing external financial statements
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
  • Technical accounting policy aptitude a plus; ability to research accounting issues and communicate the resolution and impact through written documentation
  • Advanced Excel Knowledge preferred
  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and WDesk/Workiva is a plus
