Sr. Financial Analyst, Americas


As a Sr. Financial Analyst supporting the Americas Converting Division, you will be responsible for assisting with and preparing timely and accurate financial reporting for the Americas Converting Division to help drive profitability and results. This includes analyzing financial information, the daily movement of inventory and the necessary KPI’s for the business. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role with 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment and will provide financial reporting to ensure we meet our business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to analyze data and report a fair assessment of key projects including how we can optimize it in a way that helps to generate superior business results for the company.


Position Scope:

Key processes include completing the analysis for monthly financial reports, analyzing data for the financial outlook and supporting the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes for the division.  Responsibilities also include: preparing the Americas monthly operating results and generating routine (daily, weekly, monthly) performance metrics as requested.  This role will also act as primary liaison with the operating finance field to gather and review data. 


Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial reporting for month end results
  • Support the preparation of reporting results for senior leadership (Day 6 and Day 10) for the division
  • Prepare reporting for KPI’s, including but not limited to daily inventory, throughput reporting, freight analytics, labor utilization and COV (cost of variation)
  • Implement process improvements for benchmark reporting for the division
  • Support the monthly outlook process by working with cross functional teams to complete the consolidation of the plant’s financial outlooks
  • Assist with the development of the three-year plan and the annual budget
  • Work with cost center owners to analyze monthly SG&A spend for the functional areas within the division
  • Ensure inventory compliance processes are maintained and provide training to locations as needed
  • Respond to internal and external audit inquiries and provide data and support to corporate accounting
  • Provide training for key resources for plant controllers in the Americas Division, as needed
  • All other duties as assigned 


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced Finance degree (plus)
  • Minimum 3-5 years in an Accounting/ Finance role
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and provide impactful solutions
  • Experience with OLAP tools, such as TM1 or Essbase
