We are looking for skilled Web Developer to be responsible for coding continued innovative designs and solutions that fit Graphic Packaging International's vision and business needs. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating our websites. The ideal candidate would also come with a wealth of knowledge working with Linux servers, and an understanding of the infrastructure requirements for hosting a public facing website.

 

 

 

Technical Skills:

 

  • Azure, Azure SAAS, and PAAS offerings
  • Experience implementing 3rd party APIs
  • Worked with Pardot and Gravity Forms a plus
  • Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps
  • Mobile App Development a plus
  • Knowledgeable in SEO a plus
  • Experience analyzing business need and finding a solution (problem solver)
  • Experience with UX and Design
  • Experience developing e-commerce sites
  • Experience with cookie and compliance best practices
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience working on large scale projects

Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best practices for software development
  • Create CI/CD Pipelines
  • Adhere to GPI Development security policies
  • Work closely with Marketing team to keep GPI website fresh and updated including creating new WP Templates
  • Support the Marketing and IT teams with WordPress issues and training
  • Assist Business Partners with Website integrations or consolidations, including developing standards
  • Available for after-hour on call support as needed
  • Work directly with agency partners or third-party vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Follow change management process
  • Generate Documentation and user training material
  • Monitor Website using monitoring tools, generating dashboards and reports

 

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related degree preferred
  • Work with marketing, sales force, driver
  • 5 years of web development including 5 years’ experience developing with WordPress
  • Experience with WordPress frontend (hemes, Roots/Sage theme, SCSS, JavaScript, Webpack and Yarn) and backend (plugin development, php, wp-cli, automated testing: phpUnit and Behat.) Nginx, Memcache, L-sync , Maria DB
  • Experience with public facing branded websites with an eye for creativity as well as finding solutions to help the business with leads (both sales and employment)
