Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Technical Training Analyst is responsible for creating and delivering industry-leading technical documentation, training, and support products/services for GPI packaging machinery to our global customers.  The position demands strong technical writing, graphic/illustration, and communication skills.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Use SolidWorks Composer to combine machine assembly models
  • Use Microsoft Word to create and update manuals and other technical documentation
  • Use SolidWorks Composer to create graphics and illustrations
  • Use CorelDraw (or a comparable program) to create technical illustrations and graphics
  • Use CorelDraw (or a comparable program) to create logos, icons, and branding
  • Use Microsoft Publisher to create, layout, format, and update sales brochures and data sheets
  • Use Microsoft PowerPoint to create sales and training presentations
  • Use Techsmith SnagIt to annotate photos and images to support technical documentation
  • Use Adobe Acrobat to create, format, and publish PDF documentation for distribution
  • Proficient in shooting and editing digital video and photography

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum Technical or AAS degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Systems, or related field
  • Strong skills in two or more of the below Core Job Competencies:
  • Technical Illustration, Artwork, and Graphics
  • Technical Writing
  • Technical Training
  • Video and Photography
  • 5+ years of experience working in packaging machinery or similar industry
  • Strong mechanical and electrical comprehension and understanding
  • Strong working  knowledge of SolidWorks and Composer software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, domestic and international

 

 

Salary Min:   $76,860.00

Salary Mid:   $102,480.00

Salary Max:  $128,100.00
