Summary

The purpose of the Graphic Pre-Press Customer Advocate role is to gather and coordinate job information with our Manufacturing department and Customer/Sales along with any other outside agencies for digital file production while making sure all work is produced in the timeliest and most cost-effective manner.

Main Responsibilities of the position

1. Quality Philosophy

• Never sacrifice quality just to make a deadline

2. Job Scheduling

• Generate and update a daily Job schedule and have it accessible to the manufacturing personnel
• Participate in production meetings daily for the prepress department
• Coordinate between the Customer/Sales and Manufacturing

3. Job Coordination and Engineering

• Prepare complete write-ups for both internal and external vendors
• Preflight incoming electronic files before placing into manufacturing
• Verify that all aspects of manufacturing are on schedule and that the customer expectations have been met.
• Ordering any consumable, which necessary for manufacturing completion
• Verify that information from the customer is accurate and all pieces of the Job are received be it digital or visual
• Communicate service issues and ideas for improvement to the Production Supervisor
• Quality checks all materials submitted by manufacturing before releasing
• Gather all material and information at the end of each project and generate an internal quote to be used for invoicing

Requirements

Education

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred
• Trade school or apprentice program

Skills

• Excellent communication skills including both written & verbal s
• Demonstrated positive and supportive interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical skills
• Proven organizational and priority setting skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Being a proactive thinker to help locate and provide solutions for problem areas regarding all applications.
• Experience in Printed Packaging preferred
• Minimum 5 years working in customer service for prepress provider

Pay Range:   $53,920.00 - $67,400.00
