  • Directs and controls the activities of the maintenance function to ensure that all production and support equipment is maintained at levels which are as efficient and reliable as possible.
  • Ensures that the facility itself is maintained and is a safe work environment.
  • Provide direct supervision, technical direction, administrative support, and leadership for the maintenance department
  • Provide direct supervision, technical direction, administrative support, and leadership for the Process Engineer and plant cost savings initiatives
  • Ensures machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate
  • Manage plant-wide maintenance and capital, maximizing asset reliability, uptime, and cost effectiveness with available resources
  • Manage plant environmental programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations
  • Support and manage the RCM process in the plant, as well as, in the Division, ensuring application and advancement of the RCM process.
  • Provide long-range planning for facility and equipment needs including capital and major repairs
  • Develops, implements, and oversees predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs
  • Coaches and develops training plans for all maintenance technicians
  • Supervises the Maintenance Supervisor, Storeroom, and Project Coordinators
  • Qualify Vendors and Contractors and negotiate terms and conditions

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • 5 years maintenance experience preferred including:
    • Computer Maintenance Management Systems (preferably SAP)
    • Planning and Scheduling
    • Preventative/Predictive/Precision Maintenance
    • Central Stores Management
    • Reliability Engineering
  • Proficient with MicroSoft Office, Outlook ,and internet research skills
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities and the ability to recommend and implement improvements
  • Budgeting and negotiating skills
  • Project Management
  • Leader with exceptional communication skills, good organization, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Previous environmental experience is a plus
