Job Summary:
Internship opportunities are available for the summer of 2020 in our Centralia, IL facility. Projects may be in the Manufacturing, Printing, Maintenance, Quality, or Safety departments. During this 12-week paid program, you'll gain practical experience on real-life assignments that will put your theoretical knowledge to the test. Not only will you receive on-the-job training, you'll also get exposure to project management and develop a host of transferable skills. You may get the chance to join our team upon graduation - a fantastic start to a career with a great company!

Job Duties:
• Assist the department in continuous improvement efforts by reviewing procedures, analyzing data, and implementing sustained process improvements
• Identify potential changes needed to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
• Assist in the planning and execution of departmental policies and procedures
• Analyze data to incorporate trends and provide corrective action planning to department managers
• Use technical skills and formal methods to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Manage multiple projects and provide weekly updates to department managers along with completing a final presentation to the leadership team


Required Skills

Qualifications:
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an industrial/engineering field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 & Up
• Desire to lead a team
• Junior year or senior year students are preferred
• Proficient with computers
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
