Title: Feeder Operator
Charlotte, NC, US, 28273
Maintain feeder operation, pallets of paper in feeder, and maintain ink levels in individual ink fountains. Assist in make ready and PM activities.
- Operate the Feeder; set up loads, set top and side guides, identify good and bad loads, hang plates on printing press
- Challenge run speed throughout the shift and during each job change
- Ensure that all daily management boards, dashboards, housekeeping and 5S check lists and completed accordingly for your shift
- Ensure that appropriate contact relief is made and machine hand-off occurs during shift changes
- Makes adjustments on machines and ensures that all mechanical parts are running smoothly
- Fixes and cleans all machines (preventive maintenance and other general repairs)
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to all GMP, safety, food safety, SQF, HACCP and food defense procedures (training will be provided)
Any other reasonable request from management
Required Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months previous experience in a Warehouse/Material Handler position
- 6 months previous experience in Inventory Management
- 6 months previous experience safely operating a forklift
- Computer skills
