We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our committed team of Graphic professionals as a Graphic Support Services Coordinator I. This role is located in our Americas Divisional Headquarters in Concord, NH.

Graphic Coordinator

The objectives of a Graphic Coordinator I are to handle receiving, inspection and shipment of all production materials for GPI plants and customers, under minimal supervision. Activities include communication with customer service, suppliers and the plants in order to meet the graphic specifications required by the customers. Daily tasks center on providing order management, graphic file prep, layout creation, proof inspection and job assembly. The ability to work well in a team environment and build strong working relationships are vital to the success of this role.

The work hours for this role are 10am-7PM EST Monday – Friday with occasionally after hours and weekend coverage via a department cell phone. The work hours upon hire and for a defined training period will be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Outcomes

 

Receive, analyze and ship production materials based on GPI needs and specifications

  • Communicate directly with suppliers and customers to secure approved prepress materials.
  • Communicate directly with all departments within the company to pass along production materials and written information necessary for the understanding of those materials.
  • Maintain and update all corporate and department material databases.

Perform job assembly and production and process Work Orders as they are made available

  • Maintain plant production schedules, communicate with production control.
  • Good understanding of digital proofing, digital plate production and reading of CAD files.
  • Follow up with suppliers and GPI plants working towards continuous improvement and updating of materials as needs arise.

Office daily responsibilities

  • Strong computer foundation with the ability to manipulate digital graphic files.
  • Processing of Graphics Requests as necessary.
  • Filing, cleaning and general maintenance of all department equipment.
  • Perform periodic after hours cell phone support as required.

All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Must be able to lead communications clearly; in person, by phone and via email.

Required Experience

Education

 

Minimum AS degree or equivalent work experience.

Technical

Understanding of applicable computer software and hardware.

Demonstrated functional/technical knowledge and skills to perform tasks at a high level.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe graphics software.

Understanding of the printing processes and knowledge of color management approaches used by customers and plants.

 Physical

Must have the ability to lift and carry packages and graphic arts supplies.

Must have good color vision.
