As part of the Supply Planning team, this individual will be responsible for providing leadership and execution as needed for all facets of the S&OP process in accordance with the organization’s business operating plans and strategic objectives.  This role will support the division’s capacity modeling, develop new tools and capabilities to drive continuous improvement and be directly responsible for capacity planning within a region of up to $1B of annual revenue.  This position is located in our Divisional Headquarters in Concord, NH.


Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.


  • Lead the internal process and cultural changes associated with connecting and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective S&OP Process.
  • Track key metrics for the S&OP team to monitor the effectiveness of process decisions; report metrics back to S&OP process owner to identify progress, root causes for correction or process improvement.
  • Develop new tools and capabilities to drive continuous improvement in the company’s S&OP program, including the continued maintenance and development of the divisional supply model.
  • Create and maintain long term modelling and/or scenario plans to identify capacity impacts and escalate to stakeholders.
  • Capture business requirements and define KPIs for analytical projects, build and validate data, create functional reporting, dashboards, and scorecards, and perform analytics to support current operational objectives.
  • Create the S&OP minutes and working documents to communicate key conclusions to stakeholders ensuring alignment and accountability of actions.
  • Responsible for regional capacity planning balancing capacity and demand within the Americas Division while minimizing outsourcing, freight and suboptimal production costs. Drive OTIF to targeted 98% levels for each facility.  Develop contingency plans for major items, identify enablers and roadblocks, and implement optimization opportunities while quantifying the financial impact.  Manage and monitor daily inventory levels reconciled with the demand and supply forecasts for the division.

Required Skills

  • Ability to prepare documents and information in a clear concise manner that supports decision making.
  • Effective business communication skills at all levels to include facilitation, problem solving and persistent follow up.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail, can quickly identify deviations from expected results.
  • Advanced skill level using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior Six Sigma/Lean training and/or APICS certification preferred.

Required Experience

  • Strong analytical skills and experienced in finding and understanding data and data patterns.
  • Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance and manufacturing.
  • SAP knowledge and experience with S&OP/IBP software solutions - Proficiency using technology tools that enable demand planning and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA desirable
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical and statistical modelling tools
  • 2 to 5 Years demonstrated experience in statistical and analytical modelling
