MISSION / SUMMARY:

Responsible for the accurate movement of parts in and out of the warehouse and the accurate recording of the movement to the manufacturing system.  The below summary of duties is all-encompassing for the warehouse; individuals will be cross trained to perform multiple functions but will be assigned a primary area of responsibility.  The primary area of responsibility for the current opening will be Shipping.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work in a safe manner to prevent injury to self or others.
• Handle and store parts in a manner to prevent damage.
• Accurately pick, pack and ship daily orders and contract parts that go out to the machines in the field.
• Accurately record the movement, shipment, and adjustments of parts to the manufacturing system in accordance with established procedures.
• Prioritize daily work to be done in order to get shipments out on time but be able to drop what you are doing to work on urgent requests and then pick back up on tasks that had to be postponed.
• Verify condition, description and quantity of incoming shipments against packing slip.
• Notify buyers of any discrepancies between actual shipment received and packing slip and/or Purchase Order.
• Receive and identify purchased parts, operations, and supplies and move to dock location, inspection, paint, special handling, or requisitioner.
• Prepare fabricated parts requiring plating for shipping, create shipping papers, and ship to vendor.
• Move parts from receiving and fabrication dock locations to part sales racks, assembly job racks, and stores.
• Cycle count parts.
• Perform bin audits.
• File and process paperwork in accordance with the established procedures.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a storeroom is beneficial
• Shipping experience preferred
• SAP experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

• Basic computer skills
• High degree of accuracy with data entry
• Strong sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to move heavy/awkward parts (up to 50 lbs.) frequently

Pay Range:   $40,470.00 - $50,540.00
