 Responsible for efficiently planning and scheduling the plant’s production equipment to ensure the availability of finished goods inventory to meet on-time customer deliveries.



 Coordinates the scheduling of all machines, processes, and production activities within the plants.

 Updates daily schedule to maximize EBITDA, while balancing efficiencies and supporting customer needs.

 Coordinates information flow to the operating departments and customer service via production schedules and production reports.

 Ensures scheduling maintains shipping commitments for effective service to all customers and advise sales and Customer Service of any unplanned delays. Coordinates with shipping department to meet customer needs

 Minimizes work in process inventories to maximize inventory turns.

 Recommends and assists the Production Control Manager in long-range capacity requirements planning, defining equipment and manpower needs.

 Ensures adequate plant inventory levels of work-in-process and finished goods, optimizing inventory investments in relationship to plant efficiencies and scrap rates.

 Coordinates with Plant Information Systems Analyst in order to support integrated manufacturing software.

 Manages preventative maintenance and GraphiCare calendar for the production equipment.

 Collaborates with the plant manager and department managers to ensure compliance with the preventative maintenance and GraphiCare calendar.

 Consistently supports and is involved in Continuous Improvement programs and processes.

 Responsible for the verification of SQF controls and meeting the standards of the SQF requirements.

Performs all other duties as assigned.



A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three years of experience in packaging is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess strong analytical skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products, with an emphasis on Excel.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Previous SAP experience is preferred.
