JOB DESCRIPTION	Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The beginning of the sheetfed process by converting paper rolls into sheeted stock that will then continue throughout the facility. Sheeting assist the operator in the performance of equipment operations, adjustments, tests and conversions on all equipment associated with Sheeting operations. This process periodically requires the lifting and/or movement of many heavy job-related tools and materials. This process also requires troubleshooting of various issues as they arise. Managing time on the machine to maximize efficiency while completing all procedures and documentation regarding the Sheeting process in a safe manner. Safe Quality Foods Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods. Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures. Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required. Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF). Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation. Quality Ensures all products are manufactured to company/customer specifications Documents all defects and places materials in the appropriate area with correct labelling Performs quality checks at predetermined intervals and records results in Gainseeker Purging of work materials before beginning the new order Reporting Downtime Process and component scrap Issue and reversal of unprinted loads Confirmation of sheeted stock Performance Have all required materials staged and ready . Assist in the Make Ready process by communicating with operator and lift drivers on timing of performing duties to minimize makeready time. Follow directions given by Sheeting Lead and Operator in daily tasks to achieve department goals. Must be become familiar with technical aspects of sheeter and be able to troubleshoot if needed. Such as excessive curl, dull knives and biased cuts Operate machine at appropriate speed to obtain daily goal without sacrificing Safety or Quality. Other duties assigned Perform preventative maintenance at designated intervals Report damaged goods to CI Mentor/training others to perform this job duty Perform Daily Housekeeping tasks Daily pallet jack inspection Cleaning designated machine area/department Emptying recycling bins Re-stacking loads as required Ensure that New Hires assigned to the equipment are correctly/effectively trained to perform tasks related to operating and maintaining the Sheeter. Assist others as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS	Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED Self-Motivated Problem solving/critical thinking Attention to detail Organizational skills Work well with others Communication while being open to giving and receiving critiques Desired Qualifications: Display work habits that set an example for peers. Prior manufacturing experience Work with others to help improve efficiency in all tasks In the event of absence, the Sheeting Operator and/or Sheeting Lead would backfill this role. The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS	Physical Demands: Must be in good physical condition. Proper lifting techniques. More than 50 lbs requires a team lift. Bend at the knee Requires extended amounts of time bending, pulling, walking, standing and lifting.
