Position Summary: The Quality Control Technician is a function that supports the quality and overall plant goals to meet SQF, HACCP, and Food Defense standards.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist hourly employees on quality and process-related production activities.
  • Assist in meeting manufacturing schedules and coordinating production operations, with a focus on inventory with related quality defects.
  • Communicates with teammates and production employees on proceeding and succeeding shifts to establish process stability and to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.
  • Verifies the quality of product visual assessment and random inspection using specific testing tools and methods.
  • Verifies quality and process compliance through process audits.
  • Maintains accurate records of all tests and inspections.
  • Assist operators on troubleshooting, quality checks, and identifying defects.
  • Oversees all sorting activities.
  • Performs customer and internal sampling requirements.
  • Manages Color standard and 1st run color materials process. Works directly with operators to achieve high-quality color material.
  • Gathers data as requested for projects/troubleshooting, etc.
