- Provide leadership for Continuous Improvement initiatives for the facility, including use of Problem Solving and Lean Manufacturing tools and methods.
- Identify Continuous Improvement needs, determine scope of each effort/project, assure execution, and conduct effectiveness reviews in coordination with Department Managers.
- Train / coach salaried and hourly employees on Problem solving tools (ex: Control Charts, Histograms, Root Cause Analysis, Kepner Tregoe).
- Lead facility efforts to reduce spoilage, including tracking, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Work with departments to identify, develop, execute, and maintain results of cost reduction initiatives.
- Communicate Best Practices within the facility and externally within GPI.
- Manage process for trials (internal and external requests) in coordination with QA Department, including approval of requests and final reports. Perform Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Implement a program for front line leadership development in the areas of problem solving and data analysis to foster improvement in the hourly teams.
- Develop process improvements in production OEE, spoilage, and cost using proven data-based methods for analysis and implementation.
- Support a clear understanding of the requirements for the Continuous Improvement process to build an environment that delivers continuous and sustainable results.
- Manage trial process to ensure trials are completed per the plans, accurately, and on schedule.
Pay Range: $55,800.00 - $74,400.00
