The Sr Analyst/Engineer for Continuous Improvement will focus on manufacturing operation improvement and cost savings to improve the organizations profitability and efficiency. The role will develop strategies and initiatives for efficiency as well as implement process improvements and changes in product design and manufacturing methods. They will use LEAN methodologies and principles, such as: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Single Minute Exchange of Dies, Total Productive Maintenance and Kaizen.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility
  • Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training and developing employees
  • Coordinate resources and set daily priorities for the team to ensure task completion and operational objectives are met
  • Will supervise entry level and/or semi-skilled hourly employees such as production, craft or clerical workers
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve day to day technical and operational problems

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of experience with LEAN methodology and principles

 

Pay Range:   $61,350.00 - $81,800.00
