Job Description:

Bobst 130ERII Die Cutting OperatorNight shift, 7p-7a        3-2-2-3 shiftEvery other weekend off!  

$1,500 sign on bonus and Full benefits available the 1st month after hire date!

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Working safely, setting up and running 130ERII Bobst. Perform PM’s. Complete production related paperwork. Knowledge of Pre-make ready procedures.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Complies with all company and department safety, quality, productivity, and security procedures
  • Ensures total quality of the job while in operation and performs quality checks at set intervals
  • Maintains the machine and area in accordance with the standard operation procedures
  • Sorts non-conforming and clarifies any unclear procedures
  • Sorts bad product and logs waste count
  • Creates work-in-process tags when necessary
  • Setup and verify bar code verifiers as required
  • Completes required productions reports, logs necessary information on job jackets and other required documentation
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment per work instruction
  • Performs quality audits by visual inspection including reading job specifications, labels, and job file jackets
  • Schedules are 12-hour, night shift 7p-7a
  • Must be flexible; able to work other shifts, overtime covering vacations, call outs.
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
  • Reviews and follows directions on job jacket per job run
  • Establishes make-ready on press and sets guides and feeder
  • Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem solving ability
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds and occasionally required to push up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to regularly stand and use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools
