Title:  E&I Maintenance Supervisor

JOB FUNCTION

The Utilities E&I Maintenance Supervisor directly supervises hourly employees and must possess the ability to manage by key performance indicators.  This role actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs by ensuring goals are met within the department. Other responsibilities include: ensuring completion of all required paperwork, schedules, work orders, etc.

 

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of E&I supervisory experience in power and utilities is required.
  • The successful candidate should possess E&I knowledge on recovery boilers, power boilers, turbine generators, plant power systems, opacity meters, PLC’S, VFD’S

 

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
  • Rotational Weekend Duty “On Call”
  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.

  • SAP experience preferred

 

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
