Title:  Human Resources Generalist

• Recruit new employees using traditional and new recruiting strategies
• Screen, interview, hire, and onboard all new employees
• Create and oversee employee training and apprenticeship programs
• Work with department managers to address any employee issues or concerns
• Review staffing levels to ensure necessary labor levels are achieved daily
• Coach Supervisors and Managers on different HR topics to assist in their development
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory concerns regarding employees
• Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies & practices
• Provide support on employee and labor relations issues and activities, recommending courses of action
• Work to ensure the safety, welfare, wellness and health of all employees

Required Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Problem-solving skills and sound judgement in decision making
• Ability to work on-site

Required Experience

• 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
