The Accounting Coordinator position is an experienced level Coordinator responsible for handling fiber, chemical, freight and invoicing transactions.  The position requires the ability to input data and extract data required for analysis from several systems, such as ReadSoft, SAP, Panther, CASS and any future solutions. 


JOB FUNCTIONS:  Job functions include, but are limited to the following:


  • Sort/Open and distribute mail
  • Pick up prior days Fiber Bill of Ladings from Guardhouse
  • Enter ship dates on Fiber releases in Furnish Tracking (if needed)
  • Verify Fiber information in Furnish Tracking to Bill of Ladings
  • Balance Fiber release weights to daily unloading report
  • Enter prior day Fiber consumption and production to Daily Fiber Report
  • Update Fiber Freight Report with CASS payment, etc.
  • Date stamp Chemical Receipts received from the Technical person – Wet, Dry and Consignment
  • Verify Chemical receipts to Invoices and PO in SAP
  • Do Goods Receipt in SAP (MIGO) to receive Chemicals on correct PO
  • Update Chemical Inventory Cards
  • Maintain list of chemical prices
  • Do Goods Receipts in SAP (MIGO) to receive warehousing invoices on correct PO
  • Enter AP Invoices in Readsoft for items with No PO – misc ones for Controller – BASF, etc.
  • Rail AP Invoices – receive email with any new invoices from Norfolk – enter in Readsoft – check Norfolk’s website to see if rail car has been placed
  • Review any AP invoices in workflows and reconcile issues
  • Do daily invoicing of Roll shipments
  • Reconcile Fiber and prepare Fiber entries for Month End
  • Reconcile Chemicals and prepare Chemical entries for Month End
  • Reconcile Sales and prepare entries for Month End
  • Prepare FedEx entries for Month End
  • Prepare information to email Corporate for Recycled Folding Shipments Report at Month End



Schedule Demands:

  • General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.


Physical Demands:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.


Background / Experience:

  • Three to eight years of related experience or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, business Administration or another Business-Related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP and Panther beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
