We are a folding carton manufacturing plant looking for a candidate with strong mechanical experience and aptitude to join our Finishing Department as a Feeder Catcher.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Feeds cartons into gluer machine.
  • Takes off cartons from conveyers at gluer and place finished cartons into corrugated cases according to correct packaging specifications.
  • Applies correct case labels to corrugated cases.
  • Performs quality checks according to SOP’s.
  • Notify Group Adjusters of any machine stops or any quality issues.
  • Perform general clean up.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Attends and participates in ongoing training.
  • Not limited to and including other duties as assigned. 


Requirements and Experience:

  • Grade 12 or acceptable experience.
  • On-the job training provided.
  • Must be both familiar and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (ie. Occupational Health and Safety Act).
  • Respect individuals, the organization, authority, the community and the team.
  • Can work in teams.
  • Ability to adapt.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting.
  • Strong mechanical/technical trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience in use of various hand tools and equipment.
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry.


Job Type: Full Time

Wage: starting at $18.45/hour

Schedule: Must be flexible to work Weekly Rotating Shifts that may include holidays and weekends.
