Job Description

Assist with adjustments and runs the printing press.

Essential Functions:

· Responsible for operation of VLF Heidelberg printing press.

· Directs crew members while providing on-the-job training.

· Responsible for accurate record keeping.

· Responsible for quality of product and efficiency of production.

· Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

· General clean up.

· Follows all company policies and procedures.

· Attends and participates in ongoing training.

· Not limited to and including other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 or acceptable experience.

· On-the-job training required and/or related experience.

Skills and Physical Requirement:

· Employees must be both familiar and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).

· Respects individuals, the organization, authority, the community and the team.

· Can work in teams.

· Autonomous.

· Ability to adapt.

· Ability to take initiative.

· Good communication skills.

· Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting.

· Strong trouble-shooting skills.
