This position is responsible for the following: keeping equipment operational, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; following policies and procedures; completing repairs and installing replacement parts and reporting needed changes. Experience in electrical troubleshooting and PLC logic is a definite plus. Applicants must have the ability to demonstrate basic skills in plumbing, carpentry and welding. Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge would be an additional benefit. Minimum of (1) year industrial experience requested. Applicant should possess strong electrical and mechanical skills. Must be able to work safely and follow plant SOP, LOTO and PPE. Applicant must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

 

Job Functions

  • Review KPI reports from all departments-daily. Focus on down time issues.
  • Continuous review and update of Master Data in SAP
  • Communication with Production Scheduler pertaining to asset availability.
  • Conduct Maintenance and Operations Planning and Scheduling (MOPS) meetings.
  • Review SAP notifications and work orders created daily.
  • Planning and scheduling work including work scope, planning, and materials
  • Prioritize and dispense work order for completion and audit completed tasks.
  • Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance plans and maintain Maintenance Workflow
  • Develop, analyze and improve Bills of Materials.
  • Manage internal and external rebuilds of repairable spares.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

 

Job Specifications

  • High School Diploma, GED
  • Strong computer skills, including CMMS experience with preference for SAP PM experience.
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance best practices.  Ideal candidate would have previous experience as an industrial mechanic, electrician or instrumentation technician
  • Active Listening Skills- Ability to listen to what others are saying, then ask appropriate questions.
  • Speaking Skills- Ability to talk to others and effectively convey information.
  • An excellent attendance record
