Position Purpose:
- Prepare dies for use in press operation
- Perform set up of new dies
- Keep Dies running at maximum speeds
- Insure cartons meet customer specifications
- Install dies and set up delivery section of presses
- Supervision for position is random
- Cover and perform Roll Tender position in their absence
- Help or cover Floor Help when needed
Job Functions:
- Preparing/Cleaning all Dies
- Replacing or insuring all combs and pins in dies are set properly
- Insure that all dies and related equipment are ready for press
- Set up Askew, Delivery and Stacker units on Press
- Maintain inventory of dies and die related supplies
- Assist supervisor, press operator and Floor-Help person where and when needed
- Review schedule, work orders and all die log evaluation sheets
- Maintain department integrity through compliance of safety and SQF standards
- Performs other organizational duties as required
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge- H.S. education or equivalent.
- Skills-Mechanical and technical, Attention to detail, Good Communication Skills
- Welding
- Abilities-Good attendance, work in teams or alone
Essential Functions:

- Kneeling, bending, reaching, climbing stairs
